I was pregnant with my third one. I was feeling sick that day, so I stayed home from work. (Boy, am I glad I did, too! I worked for Hertz's telephone reservation call center. I'll bet the phones were hopping that day!) I was watching Alyssa and Daniel play in the living room floor and Katie Couric was on TV. I SAW the 1st plane hit. The Towers were in the background of something they were doing. It was one of Katie Couric's male co-workers on-scene somewhere. I just remember seeing it and thinking, "Did a plane just crash?" When the 2nd one hit, we ALL realized with horror that wasn't just a plane crash.
